Pick highly relevant keywords

Keywords play an important role in ad campaigns. The more relevant the keyword, the more visibility you will get; but sometimes we need to check how our keywords are performing. Many companies overload the ad groups with high traffic keywords to get more exposure , but this is not the right way, adding more keywords can cost you more and can hinder your efforts. The goal is to get more conversions ,not to add more and more keywords.

It’s all about the relevance of your keyword , the more relevant keyword will increase your ad quality score. When you have a great quality score you need less to pay. Focus on relevance rather than adding a lot of keywords.

Choose the right landing page

Landing pages play a very important role to hold the visitor till the conversion. If you don’t choose the right landing page the visitor will click on your ad and bounce back immediately. This can make you pay for useless clicks and don’t get  any profit.

To figure out the best landing page, you need to experiment different ways to get more profit . The best way is A/B testing. You could create multiple ads that are identical in their copy but different in their destination. This experiment could show you which is most effective at retention and guide your strategy.

Just follow the trends,occasions and festivals to schedule your ads. During those periods users are more active and they are ready to invest. This scheduling saves our money and doesn’t allow it to get wasted without any outcome. Watch the trend of weekday vs. weekends clicks. AdWords can be a quick way to capitalize on that topic and drive people to your website.

Negative keywords optimisation

Negative keywords can reduce a lot of useless traffic to your ads and can reduce wastage of your money too. You need to identify the negative keywords with the help of the performance planner of google adwords .

Just analyse the data and predict the negative keywords , and test those keywords and trace your performance then optimise your results. Negative keywords will filter your audience so that you can make them conversion. The most important thing is to identify the right keyword which is stopping your traffic to get converted.

Remove the duplicate keywords from your keyword list  because you are paying for them also without any conversions.

Prioritize your budget

Make your budget with a lot of focus and set daily maximum spending limits. This will help you to spend less and get more analysis. On your first go, don’t spend all your money as this will lead you to perfect loss.

Extensions help your site to get more relevant. These also boost your performance and make you generate more traffic.

There are three universal extensions :

  1. Sitelinks: use more links where visitors might find more useful.
  2. Callout extensions: include short messages with call to action statements.like= learn more,sign up now! Etc.
  3. Structured snippets: additional information about features included in you ad. This a list of features to provide more information.

This tool is used to analyse the performance of ads , this provides you the report of your performance . It is recommended that you should use it once a month.
